As reported yesterday by Bloomberg, Irving Picard, the trustee liquidating Bernard Madoff’s firm, began distributing funds to victims of the fraud with approved claims today. Approximately 1230 holders of Madoff accounts will receive 4.6% of the money they lost in the unprecedented Ponzi scheme. To learn more, click here.
